Samsung Singapore enjoys a healthy following. But when it comes to brand fanaticism surrounding Mobile Experience, the Galaxy is muted. We needed to bring fans together and encourage engagement.

Nothing unites people like an obvious common enemy. However, we just couldn’t explicitly name or attack our competitor directly.

 

THE CREATIVE IDEA

The Great Galaxy Munch – An Instagram AR Game Filter that rallies #TeamGalaxy to take down The Fruiteroids.

 

We accompanied the release of the Instagram filter with social postings

 

THE RESULT

Most engaged filter on Samsung Sg socials with 2 in 3 user participation, over 27,180 seconds of accumulated game time and an average of 36 seconds played.
